Men and Bikes

We spent the day at the San Francisco Grand Prix. It is a fun day, minus a few major detractions. The first is that the Women's Race is scheduled for 7:30am. I'd like to be the kind of fan for whom this isn't an obstacle... But no problem, the second detraction solves that problem: the Women's Race is CANCELLED.

I attempt to capture a single rider (any one, will do; I'm a fan, but not fanatical enough to id the riders as they whiz by), but I realize that I am an inept photographer. For the best, really: nothing compares to the sensation of watching the cyclists climb Taylor Street. It would be a pity to turn squeeze them into two dimensions.

On the other hand, what a great shot of the race heavies!
